August 28, 2025 marks the beginning of the 2025-2026 Carson High School Football Home season. This was the first home game of the season against Dorsey High School, home of the Dons/Donnas.
While Carson didn't win the first game of the year against Villa Park, it was a close game with a score of 22-26.
Luckily, the Colts break that losing streak with this year's first home game on colt soil.
CHS football players are showing excitement and dominance as they prepared for their first home game of the season. Carson Colts matched the energy back with their school spirit over anything, providing support and pride. The theme of the game being "Blackout".
Many Carson football students including Michael O'Dell, Tion Marshall were a few of the students interviews.
The stands were filled with many supporters, parents, students and previous students from class of 25' were in attendance in the stands.
Carson High School junior Michael O'Dell plays safety corner and receiver. He said, "For my first game I think we're gonna dominate and I just think we're gonna have a good team chemistry cause lasty year we we're barely having out team build up, but this year we're much better and stronger.
After the loss against Villa park and getting ready they felt that their team needed some changes. More preparing and more communication with each other.
Carson High School junior Tio Marshall playing runner back says, "Our expectation is for us coming out to win with a W, Villa Park they are looking like a tough match but we are expecting to come out with a win.
Carson Colts are expected for more wins in the future and more ventures. Go Colts!
