Love is in the air, and so is the school spirit. What’s a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than with a whole week of fun!

The time is here for themed outfits, fun activities, and heartwarming moments. Whether you're dressing up in red and pink or sharing treats, this week is all about spreading love and positivity.

Some may still be wondering: what makes this week so special? The answer may lay within the much-anticipated activities and events that will be held for 5 days straight where students can partake and participate with excitement.

Carson High School senior Saige Diez responded, “I look most forward to Wednesday [because] on Wednesdays, we wear pink.”

Diez’s love for pink is something shared by many.

Overall, Spirit Week provides an opportunity for students to get involved with the school. It's the little things that come out of high school that count and the memories that these students will cherish for a lifetime.

CHS sophomore Tara Lawrence said, “I love it! It really brings everyone together and adds some fun to the week.”

But the fun can only begin if you get involved. You can start of small with a subtle collaboration between you and your friends.

So, what are the best ways to know when fun events like Spirit Week will happen? Where can you learn about these activities and make sure to participate?

“There were multiple posters plastered on the walls and those posters were posted on both Instagram and Schoology,” said senior Marcus To.

This week of celebration helps to relieve any sort of stress and gave students something to look forward to.
