After the 2024 season, the Los Angeles Dodgers ended with a winning record that was 98 wins and 64 losses. They ended up being number 1 in the NL West division with the best record at the end of the season.
Going into the playoffs, a lot of people said that the Dodgers always choke and that it's a waste of money on all these players for them to just lose.
The Dodgers fell down to 2-1 with the 3 win elimination in play. As the Dodgers went into this game against the Padres, some fans may have said their season was done and that there was no way they would come back.
“I honestly thought they were going to lose when they fell to 2-1 in the series,” said Carson High School senior Atali’i Langford. “Once they tied it 2-2 with the Padres series, I knew they were going to win.”
Instead of losing confidence and hope in the Dodgers, some fans kept the faith. After tying the series, notions of the Dodgers being the most talented team began to resurface.
“Dodgers are the best team in the league. They have the most wins and talent,” said CHS senior Damian Ruvacalba. “They got it in the bag. They can win it all.”
LA fans are hoping that this dream team will bring another ring to the City of Angels.
