After 3 years of anticipation, Squid Games season 2 is finally here. Many fans have already excitedly tuned in, readily voicing their views.
Some believe that season 2 of Squid Games is definitely packed with action and is a thriller just as powerful as the first, but there is a sense that the ending left some fans disappointed and bummed out.
"Squid Games 2 being the continuation of trying to end the games as a whole and leaving it with a cliffhanger has been crazy," said CHS senior Chase Berry
Meanwhile, season 3 is expected to be out soon, by the end of 2025.
CHS security staff member Mr. Labison is not excited about the newest installment and is not excited about season 3 either.
“There is too much going on, too much involvement and activity,” said Labison. “Season 1 was better.”
Overall, season 2 has received positive reviews with Rotten Tomatoes giving the installment a score of 83%.
“I liked season 2 Squid Games,” said CHS senior Michael Macias, “because the games were cool, the characters were fun, and my favorite part was where they all teamed up together.”
"I liked season 2 of Squid Games because the storyline added more action to the show. I loved the new games and the new friendship that were brought into the show. I cannot wait for season 3!" said CHS senior Julissa Aceves.
