Logan Paul is a YouTuber that has had his biggest year year yet, He’s gained 15 million subscribers in just 2017 alone. He started off as a Viner and got his fan base from there with over 9.5 million followers on Vine.

Paul recently made one the biggest mistakes in his whole career. On New Year’s Eve he posted a video on his YouTube channel titled “We’ve Found a Dead Body.” In the video he is showing the body close up with face blurred and is laughing and kind of making it seem like it’s not a serious thing. The video was up for 24 hours and was viewed over 6 million times.

The next day he was getting blasted on the internet because of the way he acted around the body and because he showed it. He later deleted the video and made a another video apologizing titled “ So Sorry.” In the video Paul states, “I don’t expect to be forgiven, I am simply here to apologize.” The apologizing video got 40 million views with 1 million likes and dislikes, respectively, and a lot of the comments on the video forgave him and a lot don’t forgive him. Other big YouTubers give their perspective on the situation on their own channels.

“I think it’s totally wrong, but you have to always think if it’s fine to put in the internet,” CHS junior Matthew Alferos said.

“I think it’s pretty dumb, he could’ve had second thoughts about posting a video of a dead personals not even blurring the whole body,” CHS junior Zourth Cantos.

Logan Paul is yet to post a video on his channel since the “ So sorry” video. Before that he didn’t miss one day within a year, he hasn’t spoken on the situation and when he’s coming back.
