The article Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Will Honor Chadwick Boseman: Everything We
Know About the Movie by Eliza Thompson stated, “’Honoring Chadwick Boseman’s legacy & portrayal of T’Challa, @MarvelStudios will not recast the character, but will explore the world
of Wakanda & the rich characters introduced in the first film,’ the company tweeted.”
The movie is supposed to remember the death of the beloved actor without replacing the legacy the actor left after his unfortunate death. The official trailer depicts a very sad feeling, and you can see a mural of T’challa in the shot. A very emotional and painful feeling could be felt as we think of Chadwick Boseman.
In part because of Boseman’s death, the movie had a lot to live up to. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film was given an 84% on the Tomatometer, as well as 94% on the audience score. The film had a crowd of dedicated fans and was one of the most-watched movies in November.
“The moving was amazing. I liked the costumes in the movie, I liked the patterns and colors, and how most of the outfits go with the personality of the characters. This movie made me feel very emotional, sad, excited, fearful, happy, and joyful,” said Carson High School senior Laylah Washington.
Personally, after watching the film, there were so many emotions and tears-so many tears. The film definitely is a must-see for someone who is interested in Marvel or for anyone who wants to see a movie that brings this tumbleweed of emotions as well as POC representation. So, it is highly recommended, and a must-see for the holiday season.
