The Carson High Boys Soccer Team has been victorious this season. They’ve been consistently winning games, and they did well at the Southeast Tournament! Their record? They won 7 games, had 2 losses, and 6 ties!

Their most intense game was their first game of the season, against Legacy High School. The crowd was immense and the tension was high because Legacy came back from a tough season. This game would show if the Colts had improved or not, but the final score was a tie of 2-2!

Their best game win was against West Adams, during the middle of their season. which led to an impressive score of 7-1!

During the Southeast Tournament, they've played against Hamilton, Downey, King Drew, Legacy, and South Gate. Their score against Hamilton was 2-1, and their later game against King Drew was a 0-0 tie, including full-time and overtime. They moved onto penalties, and they won 5-4! The penalty was scored by freshman varsity player Marvin Mejia of CHS.

Their game against Legacy ended with a score of 3-1, and their game against South Gate finished with a score of 4-1.

“We only lost one game to Downey. We played a pretty good game,” said CHS freshman Ethan Torres.

“We’re doing good. I think we can make it to the championship,” Mejia stated. “We worked hard this season, and I hope all of our hard work pays off in the end.”

In order for them to advance to the championships, they have to do well in the league. Let’s wish them good luck and cheer on Carson’s Boys Soccer team as they finish off their season hoping to advance to the championships.
