Cancer Awareness

Cancer awareness is an important topic to share and discuss because many men and women are affected by it . The primary goal of ICS ( incident command system) is to promote and develop awareness in the public and emphasize the importance of early detection , all of which play a major role in the treatment of cancer. Cancer awareness can also lead to people making their healthier life choices.

Cancer can be avoided in many different ways. For example , don’t use tobacco.” Tobacco smoke has atleast 70 chemicals that cause cancer, also known as carcinogens. Everytime you breathe in that smoke , those chemicals get into you bloodstream , which carries the chemicals to all your body parts.” Eating a healthy diet is also very important. Another important thing in that category is maintaining a healthy weight and being physically active. Wearing sunscreen can also be a lifesaver because it protects your skin from the sun.

There are many different ways of knowing if you have cancer. Signs and symptoms of cancer depend on where the cancer is , and how much it affects nearby organs or tissues. A cancer can grow into or begin to push on nearby organs , blood vessels , and nerves. A cancer may also cause symptoms like fever, extreme tiredness or weight loss. This may be because cancer cells use up much of the body’s energy supply. Or the cancer could release substances that change the way the body makes energy. Cancer can also cause the immune system to react in ways that produce these signs and symptoms.

Some signs of cancer are unexplained weight loss, fatigue, night sweats, loss of appetite , (new) persisten pain , recurrent nausea or vomiting, blood in urine, or blood in stool.
