In the US there has been a shut down of the store Morphe due to bankruptcy of their parent company. This has left many employees high and dry with no inventory or clue as to what is happening with their store.

Before the bankruptcy filing, Morphe was known for having financial problems and even faced several lawsuits. Yet, they continued to let customers shop the brand online.

Carson High School senior Julissa Padilla said, “[It’s sad that there’s] no more cheap brushes; they were good.”

According to newsweek ,“Morphe has also reportedly seen sales shrink over the past two years. Business of Fashion reported that the brand saw sales drop from $500 million in 2020 to $295 million in 2021.”

The rumors are that the company is trying to rebrand in order to connect to generation Z.

However, it might be a lot a little too late. Christina Tapia CSH, mentions “I've bought a Morphe eyebrow brush it was good for the prices since all of it is cheap.”

For Morphe to come back and open the stores will be unlikely since the little resources they have even a connection to make it come alive a little.
