The singer and songwriter Taylor Swift will be receiving the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Awards this month. Many of her fans are proud of her and continue to offer their unlimited support.
Swift has some of the most loyal fans in the entertainment industry.
According to ipsos.com, just under half of all Americans (44%) consider themselves to be fans of Taylor Swift and her music with Millennials (57%) being the largest portion of the fan base.
Carson High School freshman Nancy Franco said, “[The reason she is popular is] because her music inspires a lot of people and she does like storytelling as well. Like, she doesn't make music just for music [but] has a story behind her music videos too.”
The songwriter has been credited for writing her own lyrics on every song she has sung starting with her album Taylor Swift (2006) to her recent album Midnight (2022).
CHS freshman Natalie Gomez said, “She creates her music so she can be relatable to other people and her fan base. She was once a wild teenager too.”
Taylor Swift continues to make new music that her fans will listen to too. She makes sure to guide others and to help them get through rough times, with or without music.
