Randy Gonzalez and Brice were the Enkyboys. Father and son duo Randy (35) and Brice (6) Gonzalez, better known as The Enkyboys, were best known for their lip-syncing and dancing using Tiktok videos. The two had nearly 16 million followers on Tikok using their vibrant family dynamic-including other members of the Gonzalez family, two daughters Lauren and Aubree, and wife Kimberly.
In August of 2022, Randy announced on his social media platforms that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer. Doctors told him he had 2-3 years to live but that chemotherapy would extend his life for five more years. As a result, Randy created a GoFundMe page to help pay for expenses and treatments after he was denied care at the University of Texas Anderson Cancer Center because they didn’t accept his insurance.
Carson High School senior Isandro Albarran knew is familiar with the Enkyboys.
“It was pretty tragic when I heard about it,” said Albarran. “I started to tear up because I feel so bad for Brice [because] he is so young [with] such a hard situation to live through.”
Fans like Albarran are also heartbroken that there won’t be any more Enkyboys content on Tiktok due to Randy’s untimely death.
“I feel sad about the passing of the father of Enkyboys because Brice lost his father at a young age, and they seemed pretty fun and close,” said CHS senior Paulina Dedano.
Many are sending well wishes to the popular family who let millions get a glimpse of their lives.
Dedano added, “I pray that his family is doing good, and I know [the] Dad's spirit is here. You guys are strong and will get through this dark moment.”
