Three Teens Wounded After Shooting Outside of Del Amo Mall



In Torrance, California, officers were dispatched at about 6:30 p.m. just outside Del Amo mall Fashion Center Tuesday evening.


According to a department spokesman, several shell casings were found outside the area near BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse.


Officers from the Torrance Police Department conducted an investigation and found out that three teens, age 17, were approached by three to four suspects who opened fire and fled across Carson Street to the mall’s Dave and Buster’s only to commit another crime by carjacking a Chevrolet SUV and fled the scene.


After 45 minutes of the shooting, Police officers learned that the three teens had driven themselves to the hospital.


There was no word on the motive for the shooting, or whether it was gang related. No descriptions were released of the multiple suspects.
