Are you a funny person who likes to tell jokes? Do you enjoy making other people laugh If so, you are in luck because the Carson High ComedySportz team is in deep need of more comedic entertainers this coming school year.
ComedySportz, is an improve comedy show fun for people of all ages. Two high school teams battle to “the death” in uniquely styled games and compete for points. The team gained louder applauses and laughs from the audience wins!! ComedySportz shows are filled with witty humor, larger than life energy, and knee-slapping puns that will make you cry…in the good way.
Co-Manager of the Carson High ComedySportz team, Sergio Ramos, said “Students should join because it’s enjoyable and you make friends. It even teaches you how to be a funny actor without using a script.”
The team is open to students of all grades from any of the three schools on the Carson High campus. Members have practices every Tuesday from 6:00pm – 7:30pm in the OAR, and are currently preparing for upcoming shows beginning in the fall season.
Carson High PAMA teacher Mrs. Barryte said, “Students gain self esteem, learn how to work as a team, and take chances. [ComedySportz] is fun and fun is good!”
If you are considering in joining the ComedySportz team, come to their practices that are occurring every Tuesday from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at the OAR.
